Good and Gracious God,

in Baptism you call us by name.

You anoint us as priest, prophet, and king,

to which we say,

"Here I am, Lord."

Give each one of us the faith to listen to your call,

the strength to respond,

and the grace to fulfill the call you place in our hearts.

Help those whom you are calling to serve 

as priests, sisters, brothers and deacons 

to hear your voice,

As you ask,

"Who can drink the cup I drink?"

let them freely answer,

"I will, Lord."

Empower parents, families and teachers

to share their faith

and to encourage young people

to explore religious vocations.

Send your spirit

to guide and strengthen these chosen ones

as they seek out your will for their future.

May we, your Church,

stand and support them

as they begin this wonderful adventure of LOVE.

      Amen.
